Rhetorical Structure Theory: Towards Writing with a Sense of Purpose

In recent years, different writing researchers have stressed the importance of integrating text-based and reader-based approaches in instruction to enable EFL learners write both coherently purposefully. However, combining these two basic features students’ remains a challenging task for students teachers. Given this challenge, present paper describes model that combines based on Rhetorical Structure Theory process genre approach improve learners’ quality.
